Tuesdays: WRITE

1. 15 minute free-write. Respond to one of the writing prompts below
2. 20 minute Peer Edit. Read your writing to a partner and do the following
   1. Make your own edits as you find things you want to change and correct
   2. Listen to feedback from your partner
   3. Make changes based on given feedback
3. 10 minutes. Share out final results
4. 10 minutes. Grammar game
5. Discuss next steps

Wednesdays: READ

1. 35 minutes. Reading / project work time / 1-1 check-ins with Mr. Field
2. 20 minutes. Partner share out / give feedback / create and revise project plan.
3. Discuss next steps

Thursdays: COMPREHEND

1. 40 minutes. Vertical groups, reading for comprehension, gathering evidence. Each group will read an elementary, middle, and high school selection and answer comprehension questions.
2. 10 minutes. Students change groups and share and compare answers.
3. 10 minutes. Whole group summary and next steps.
